Deluge fire sprinklers

‘Deluge’ systems are aptly named. They deluge the risk area with water through open spray nozzles of differing types that can either be in a vertical or horizontal position or directional aim and vary in velocity

They usually have either a pneumatically-charged detection pipe with sprinkler heads or a form of electrical detection such as UV or heat detectors which will trigger the deluge valve.
